Of course, that's the same philosophy as keeping a desk straightened, a bed made, a garden weeded--you get the idea.
This only applies to some people, however. I was expected to keep my room clean, my own ironing done when I was in high school, and do my part of the house cleaning. In turn, I expected my own daughters to help me around the house. We had that "dreaded list" that came out every Saturday morning!
I had four daughters. My oldest daughter, to my amusement, gets the "dreaded list" out every day. She also has four daughters and they keep up DAILY! My granddaughters are amazing. They all fuss, but it is expected of them to help. Not a bad concept. I have one of the four who "will never have a list." She's grown-up and that's her option.
I have recently had my hands hurting from arthritis. I was watching Good Things Utah one day and saw the Sargent Steam owner demonstrate the machine. I immediately went to her lovely showroom. I was the easiest sale ever. Should I have to give it up, I would never clean again.
Not only can I still have a clean home, but now I can have a sanitized home as well. I no longer use ONE toxic chemical in my home. The machine uses only ordinary tap water heated to 298 degrees and has 50 pounds of pressure. Wow! It's easier, faster, healthier, and cheaper in the long run. I was spending at least $35 a month on this cleaner or that.
Guess what? Who do you suppose also likes my steam machine? You bet! My daughters want to use MINE.
I no longer have the same problems, but here are a few they complain about:

fingerprints muddy footprints spills on the carpet dirty bathtubs
dirty window tracks dirty toys grime in the shower dirty cars
stinky tennis shoes spots on the carpet crayons on the walls

My strict rule: You use it and it is back before dawn!

I no longer worry about grandchildren getting into the toxic chemicals.

Life is easier for me now.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, or having a FREE cleaning demonstration in your home, call Michelle at 801-979-6707.
I have many years of experience with a cleaning business, but once I became acquainted with the Sargent Steam cleaner, but also to become a sales representative myself!

My Steam Cleaner Got Stains out of My Wedding Dress!

I have 6 granddaughters. The older girls wanted to see Grandma's wedding dress that I had so carefully saved. I was married in 1965 and my second daughter wore the dress 15 years ago. It was so wonderful to see her walk down the aisle in my wedding dress! It brought such wonderful memories back of their Grandpa and I on our wedding day. Forty-five years ago the dry cleaners told to wrap the dress in a blue sheet after it was cleaned and put it in a garment bag.
Everyone was excited to see the dress--it is still such a beautiful gown. Unfortunately, when I opened the bag, some of the intricate lace flowers were brown! We were all sick. Nobody can wear a dress with brown lace. It was a disappointing moment.
On the way home, I decided to get my Sargent Steam machine out and heat it up to see what if anything it could do. I laid it on the table with a white towel underneath it. The machine has 298 degrees with 50 pounds of pressure. I had seen a video on our Sargent Steam site of getting chocolate out of a wedding dress. I applied the steam and within not many minutes, the brown color began to lighten. I continued each piece of lace until all of them were white as snow again. Hurray! I was a happy Grandma. I immediately got on the phone to relay my great news.
The dress is again put aware in a blue sheet and in an "acid-free" garment bag. I had read online that over time, the acid produced by a regular garment bag can deteriorate textiles. Protecting precious heirlooms is important. There are companies that can prepare heirlooms for storage.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, or having a FREE cleaning demonstration in your home, call Michelle at 801-979-6707.
I have many years of experience with a cleaning business, but once I became acquainted with the Sargent Steam cleaner, I decided not only to use the machines in my cleaning business, but also to become an independent business owner.

Healthy Home Cleaning Alternative

How many people out there have the same cleaning challenges that I do- When to clean? How to clean? Is it safe to clean with this or are these chemicals harmful to me or my family? Should I clean green? Will cleaning green actually work?

With so many questions and concerns I decided to do some research. I was surprised to find that in a January 2009 report by the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine it stated “all the women in their study who were exposed to cleaning agents, including both asthmatic and non-asthmatic participants, had respiratory symptoms in response.” Since asthma runs in my family I was now scared to death that I could actually be giving myself and my family a chronic illness by cleaning! WOW! Who knew?

I decided to research a bit deeper into eliminating those harsh and toxic cleaning chemicals and my research led me to cleaning with steam. Steam uses ordinary tap water to clean and sanitize practically every surface in my home. With steam, I don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals that are harmful or fatal if accidentally ingested or inhaled.

There were so many steam cleaners to choose from out there. Small hand held ones that were about $99 and big industrial looking ones that were about $7,000. Luckily I found a steam cleaner that was right in the middle cost-wise at about $1,200. You might think I’m crazy for spending all that money on a steam cleaner but I weighed the pros and cons. Cleaning with steam is not only going to save my family’s health, it’s actually going to save me money over the years instead of cost me money. Can you believe that?
I bought my steamer at Sargent Steam and I’m so impressed with it! It easily blasts through my toughest grime and hardest jobs, but is gentle enough for use on my hardwood floors and painted walls. I can’t believe how versatile this machine is! I absolutely LOVE it! And so does the environment. You really can have it all- a clean home, a healthy family and a green cleaner that actually works.

Do you or your loved ones suffer from allergies? The kind that makes everyone miserable both the sufferer and those who look after the sufferer? Allergy

causes are as different as their symptoms. It’s brutal and not easy to diagnose but you’ve come to realize that, among others, indoor air pollution from dust, dust mites, mold, mildew, and pet dander are possible factors.

So you’re cleaning all the time but the cleaning chemicals are often just as harmful to you as the problem you’re trying to solve, right? How do you choose which symptom to address first, the itchy watery eyes and nose you get from mold in your shower or the red itchy rash from the tile cleaning chemical you’re using to kill the mold? You can’t wear rubber gloves because latex cause allergies, too. It’s a vicious circle and you want it to stop right now and guess what…you’re not alone. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases say 50 million Americans suffer from allergies of some type. That’s about half of us and the numbers appear to be growing.
I feel your pain. Although I cannot cure allergies, cleaning with steam can help on many levels. Professional steam cleaners use 290 degree steam to kill mold and mildew, not chemicals that irritate your lungs and skin. This means you can easily and effectively control mold all over your home and you don’t need to wear protective gear while you do it. Steam also kills mold in areas you can’t reach (the pressure penetrates into cracks and crevices) and areas you don’t want to touch. You don’t have to sneeze every time you take a shower (that’s one of the most common areas for mold growth) and you don’t have to choose between breathing and dealing with a nasty rash all over your hands and arms, either. Steam cleaners eliminate some of your ‘either or’ choices. You don’t have to choose between your health and a clean home. You can have both.

You know you feel better when you’ve had a good night’s sleep but as you lay down in bed, are you wheezing again? Chances are dust mites are your problem. Barb Ogg, Ph.D., at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln has information about controlling dust mites. She recommends eliminating dust catchers, washing bedding in hot water more often, and using heat or steam on your mattresses, carpeting, and upholstery to kill the dust mites that make it hard to breathe. You must also remove their debris which is actually the biggest irritant. Vacuuming and steaming your bedding and carpeting regularly helps keep the dust mite population down and you breathing easier. Dust mites love pet dander, too. Pet dander is neutralized and removed in the steaming process so your dog can be your best friend again.

Search for the topics you are particularly interested in! Priscilla the English Bulldog puppy! She was so adorable I could have eaten her with a spoon. And that face! Love at first sight. So cute I even forgave her for her 9th little puppy puddle. After the 19th puppy puddle I still loved her but didn’t think she was quite as cute. In fact I was beginning to wonder if we had maybe made a huge mistake.

This puppy potty training thing was a lot more difficult than we had expected. We were certainly not as prepared as I thought we were. I started wondering how that little body could produce so much piddle? Then I found a great book and her training started to shape up nicely.

Now I had time to focus on the mess she had made of my carpeting. I have two words for all new puppy owners – steam cleaner, I repeat Steam Cleaner (just in case you didn’t get it the first time).
If not for my steam cleaner, I can say with certainty that I would not have kept my sanity. The carpet, the puppy or both would have had to go. Because of my steamer I can keep the carpet and the puppy.

There are several reasons my steamer is perfect for this problem. One is because the temperature is so hot it actually kills the bacteria that causes odor. It doesn’t just cover up the smell with a perfumed chemical. Since it doesn’t smell where she went, she won’t go in that spot again.

I also love it because renting a carpet cleaner or calling a professional service is a very difficult, expensive and/or time consuming job. But with my steamer handy I’m able to remove the pet stains myself quickly and easily before they dry and set.

I just move the floor brush covered with a cloth back and forth over the stain. The steam pressure penetrates all the way to the carpet padding. Then as the heat rises, up comes the problem into the cloth. I change the cloth as it gets dirty and I know the problem is gone when the cloth comes up clean.

Now I’m not stressing about my house smelling or thinking about replacing my carpet. I can just relax and enjoy the cute little puddle maker. In fact friends who come to meet Priscilla can’t believe it – our house doesn’t smell like a puppy.

Even apartments complexes didn’t have any such thing as a “companion animal.” I was one of those hard-liners who did not like dogs, had never owned a dog, and wasn’t about to change! Since “change” is a common word these days, it now applies to dogs! After having several dogs run over when my children were young and they cried to weeks, I said, “No more dogs. You get your own dog when you grow up.”

Not only did they grow up and get dogs, but one of my daughters “gave me” one to “keep me company.” I flatly refused to keep Princess, a little white and beige Lhasa Apso. I am an older professional woman who is not retired; consequently, I had no time or desire to have a dog. Come to find out, my daughter who is a flight attendant, bought the dog for $500! When they were children, the neighbors had puppies and we took one for FREE. She begged me to at least take Princess for 2 weeks until she found a sitter. Dogs now need a sitter, of all things. They call them dog “hotels.” So actually the dog wasn’t purchased for me, but she found out she couldn’t leave for days on a flight and have a dog! Of course, we as parents will never learn our lessons. When the children were little, I could just say, “no.” Nobody knows what that word means any more. I know you have already guessed. I vehemently told her, “I will take Princess for two weeks and that is all. No questions asked.”

That was five years ago. How she stole my heart is beyond me. I adore her to the point that my family rolls their eyes at me when I have to take Princess to all the family parties because I don’t want to leave her alone. The same daughter who left Princess on my door step said, “Mother, she is a dog. Dogs stay home all the time.”

I did not take Princess to doggy school, as one is supposed to do to teach them manners. Not only do they need sitters and hotels, but they also need manners! We lived on a farm and the dogs obviously didn’t have manners. They stayed outside in the doghouse with an old quilt, and sometimes got a heating pad in the winter. As you know, it gets worse.

All the dogs have to be “house broken,” which also requires some time and skill to teach them to potty only outside or on a pad. Princess not only didn’t have school, but has never gone to a hotel, and is still making puddles on my carpets, if not worse. Her serious potty mistakes are “not her fault.” As I said, I am a busy professional woman and leave for work. My last condominium had a dog door which was great but anyone who has dogs can sympathize with me. When you are gone for hours on end, un-schooled dogs still potty or poop on the carpets. Princess hates the snow and refused to go outside in the wind and snow, so after all this time, I am still purchasing all kinds of carpet-spotters. None of them work and if there is one that does, I hope you’ll give me the name of it, as I am giving you my blog.
Little dogs are barkers, of course unless they have been to school. My neighbors liked me just fine but kindly told me that Princess barks all the time. The solution was getting new neighbors. I sold my condo and found a gated community that “allowed dogs.” Five years ago dogs were not a household necessity. I constantly see” big dogs and little dogs,” as the children’s book says. (If you haven’t read that book, get it for your grandchildren.)

I decided to purchase something else. However, the buyers of my condo wanted me to replace the carpets! If I had wanted new carpet I would have bought new carpet and enjoyed them. That was the selling issue—no new carpets or no the buyers wouldn’t purchase, and the price was great. I couldn’t believe all the spots everywhere when I moved out. I was so mad at Princess. She was responsible for my having to replace the carpets. This wasn’t going to happen in my other house.

I think the point is well made by now. Five years ago I did a favor for my daughter and now I love that silly dog. She has her own blanket and sleeps on the bed. Every other house has a dog too. They all tell me “that their dog doesn’t potty on the carpets.” I actually Googled “dog stains,” and found an unlimited number of entries and what to do about those spots that are now on the carpets of my new house. Fortunately, I now have the perfect solution.

You can Google: Steams My Team. Princess is now 50 years old I’ve been told and is rapidly catching up with to me, but she still potties on my carpets! Hair spray is everywhere. As frustrating as it is, I well remember doing the exact thing many years ago. Hair spray has been around for a long time.

The bathroom looks much like a disaster zone after the kids leave for school. There is hair spray on the mirror and walls. Before anyone gets to the realization that the mirror and walls need desperate attention, weeks have passed. The counters are full of an assortment of spills, drops and smudges! The toilet seat even has hair spray on it. If there are boys in the house, let’s not forget how the toilets and the floor look after a few days, let alone weeks! If this isn’t a bad enough situation, the bickering to see who is going to clean the bathroom is never-ending.

I wondered how I could ever get through this war zone without the Comet, Windex, toilet bowl cleaner, swiffer and lots of paper towels? Everywhere I turned, I kept reading an article on cleaning green. There is so much talk about not using toxic chemicals.

I saw a commercial on the Sargent Steam machine. I actually came across the Steams My Team blog and called about it. My cleaning solution has been solved!

I have worked on the beveled edges on the doors where the hair spray was caked on. When that hot steam hit the doors, I was able to whip away the dirt with a rag. The doors, the wall behind the mirror, and the mirror were gleaming. A soft micro fiber cloth on the mirror made them look sparkling. There was true amazement on my face. The entire process maybe took about 20 minutes. I had saved so much time. I no longer needed ANY chemicals in my house at all.

I actually have so much room under my sinks, the bathroom cabinets, and storage room, that the shelves looked bare! I must have had hundreds of dollars worth of this and that I had seen advertised on television that I bought almost every week. None of them work like they say they will! They just cost a lot of money and give the companies a huge profit every year.

That was a year ago now. Cleaning with steam has made our home happier, cleaner, and saved us from anymore expensive chemicals. My teenagers are thrilled to use a steam cleaner. It makes cleaning fun!

The thing our friends were most excited about is their hardwood floors. They were a little nervous because they’ve never lived in a house where they’d have to take care of them.

She had asked other friends if they knew how to keep them looking like brand new without ruining them. The methods she heard were really silly. Someone suggested using vinegar and water to get them clean and wax to keep them conditioned. But what I know about vinegar is that it’s a corrosive! The last thing she’d want is to eat through the varnish! The wax just left everything cloudy and sticky. She could see foot prints on them almost right after she did them.

These just seemed like too much work, and too many things to be worried about all at once so I suggested we use my Microfiber Mop. I just misted the mop pad with regular tap water and ran it over the floor. I could see the dirt and dust cling to the mop. I couldn’t believe how clean it made the wood.

Now they look clean and polished with almost no work at all. The material is a Microfiber-polyamide blend with NO cotton. They weave the fibers to look like star-shaped clusters. These little groupings of thirsty fingers cling onto just about anything they touch.

I like to use them dry to get all the loose dirt and debris off the floor instead of a standard broom. I love them with just a small amount of water to get the harder, stickier messes off with ease. When I’m finished I simply remove the pad from the attachment head and then launder with regular detergent. I don’t use fabric softener because this will coat the fibers and affect how well the mop can do its job.

I purchase the special Micro Fiber rags at Sargent Steam company or just call Michelle.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, buying Micro Fiber rags, or having a FREE cleaning demonstration in your home, call Michelle at 801-979-6707.

I have many years of experience with a cleaning business, but once I became acquainted with the Sargent Steam cleaner, I decided not only to use the machines in my cleaning business, but also to become an independent business owner. This morning, my boyfriend tells me he wants to have some of the players on his rugby team over for dinner after their big game. TONIGHT! I was kind of in a frenzy trying to get the house organized and something planned for dinner that could feed a rugby team.

I decided to have burgers and hot dogs on the BBQ with a good simple pasta salad and dessert of some sort; the whole nine yards. (Go big or go home, right?) It would be fast and feed lots of hungry rugby players. I ran to the store and got everything ready for later, when I got home I noticed the barbeque was filthy and the patio furniture was a disaster! I couldn’t even see through the dirt and grime. I didn’t want to spend much time in the house with it being such nice weather. I thought I’d still be cleaning when they all get here. Then I remembered I have my very own miracle machine--my steam cleaner!

I took a deep breath, filled my steam cleaner with ordinary tap water, and while it was heating up, I brushed all the loose dirt and char off the BBQ. When my machine was ready, I started with my patio furniture. I put on my diamond brush with and cloth and turned on the steam. In less than ten minutes, I had my whole patio set sparkling clean and set up. They looked like a brand new patio set!

Next I moved over to my BBQ and steam cleaned the textured outside with my steam nozzle and 2” stiff brush and watched the dirt and grime melt away with almost no effort at all. I added a spiral-cut stainless steel scrubber to do the racks and the charred muck on the bottom by the grease catcher.

My whole barbeque was clean and sparkly in a total of 20 minutes. That job used to take all afternoon! The meal was ready to go and my patio looked amazing. I got to sit back and relax until game time. They won of course. I enjoy myself in the sun and came home for a great yummy meal with good friends on my sparkling clean patio. All of this thanks to my steam cleaner.

Cleaning has always been something I loved, both because I like clean, but cleaning is good for stress. Last summer I decided to clean my outside windows, using an old ladder I knew wasn’t that safe. It would suffice this time and I’d never use it again. The ladder never got used again, yes, but I fell off backwards onto the cement driveway. A neighbor found me lying there all bloody and called the ambulance. I spent 4 days in a trauma unit at a cost of $13,000!

Are you looking for a better solution to tedious cleaning or do you find yourself wondering what the easiest and most effective way to clean is?

Nearly everyone unknowingly spends about $35 a month of one cleaning chemical after another, trying to get the same results they do on television ads. In a year’s time, with auto detailing and carpet cleaning, you are spending over $400 a year, which is a very low estimate.

A steamer is just like buying anything else. Do you want a tiny little car for your family or do you need something larger? Something bigger and better always costs more! As important is that you have a local place to have service if you need to. To my knowledge, no other steam company has someone go directly to your home and give you an hour free demonstration! If you buy another machine and don’t like it, you must pack it up and send it back. Why not first see the Sargent Steamer first and THEN make your decision?

If you are out-of-town, we have extensive online classes to teach you how to use your machine using excellent videos.

Make house cleaning fun!

Let’s not get too frustrated because I well remember doing the exact thing many years ago. Hair spray has been around for a long time, as I have.

If there are boys in the house, let’s don’t forget the toilets and the floor. If this isn’t a bad enough situation, the bickering to see who is going to clean the bathroom is never-ending.

I have no more worries whatsoever about the bathrooms and you shouldn’t either. I readily solved the problem a year ago when I had a Sargent Steam machine demonstration. I had been told to make a list of the “worse parts in the house” and we would tackle them one at a time. Of course, the bathroom was the starting point. There was dread in my heart to let anyone see the battle zone, but the nice lady showing me the machine assured me that I was “not to worry.”

The lady had a cart full of all kinds of brushes, attachments, micro fiber clothes, and extension wands. She had everything, but there was one important thing missing: she had NO toxic chemicals at all. That was my first concern. How was she ever going to get through this war zone without the Comet, Windex, toilet bowl cleaner, swiffer and lots of paper towels?

She took the steamer first to the toilet, spraying 298 degree heat and 50 pounds of pressure to the tank, toilet seat, around the bottom, inside, and all around the floor with no effort at all. She did no kneel one time on the floor or bend over. That was my amazement. My knees are red and sore after I clean just one bathroom, and most of us have three bathrooms! The toilet soon looked like the day the plumber took it out of the box—it was spotless.

“The Steamer Lady,” as she calls herself, went to work on the beveled edges on the doors where the hair spray was caked on. When that hot steam hit the doors, she whipped the dripping crap off with a rag. She explained that there were several ways to attack the problem. She said she could also use the triangular brush covered with a fitted towel. This way everything was done at once. The doors, the wall behind the mirror, and the mirror were gleaming. She used a soft micro fiber cloth on the mirror. There was true amazement on my face. The entire process maybe took her 10 minutes. The time it would save me was worth the money, and I no longer needed ANY chemicals in my house at all.

I actually have such an arsenal of cleaning products that I was able to give away or throw away, it gave me so much room under my sinks, the bathroom cabinets, and storage room, that the shelves looked bare! I must have had hundreds of dollars worth of this and that.

That was a year ago now. My husband nearly flipped that I would consider an expensive machine like this until he too starting using it. It has made our home happier, cleaner, and saved us from anymore expensive chemicals. My teenagers are thrilled to use it. It makes cleaning fun! I am sold on the Sargent Steam machine. If you too want to experience the same thing I did, give Michelle a call at 801-979-6707. Go to her Google site: Steams My Team and read all the articles on the benefits of using steam. The body can take a real beating when doing the traditional cleaning. I have a solution for your eyes, nose, and throat irritation; the neck and back pain; arms, wrists, and hands aching.

Science has proven that toxic chemicals are harmful to your body. The eyes, nose, and throat actually become affected by the chemicals that we use while doing our house cleaning. Many of those chemicals are poisonous. We are so accustomed to using them that we feel it is necessary to “really get things clean and disinfected.” This is not so. Our eyes, nose, and throat actually get red, itchy, dry and sore from all the chemicals.

Harsh, toxic chemicals have been shown in laboratory tests to affect our breathing. Chlorine bleach sends your blood gases through the roof. If you breathe the fumes in, they can actually burn your esophagus and sinuses. They can be deadly if you mix bleach with ammonia in a small enclosed space.

How do you feel after a day of house cleaning? Is your neck and back stiff and tense from being bent in awkward positions all day? We try to reach inaccessible nooks and crannies. Your shoulders hurt from mopping, vacuuming, and reaching, not to mention using a ladder to get light fixtures, walls, and the tops of appliances. There is many a serious accident using those ladders!

The worst part of all is your back! Tile is so popular right now. Scrubbing that tile grout on your knees will assure you of having a sore back and knees. Are your knees bruised? You must kneel to scrub the tub, get behind the toilets and along the base boards.

There are books printed on How to Clean. There are professionals on the internet who profess to know the solutions to cleaning. People hire cleaning companies, which can run into hundreds of dollars several times a year. Save your money!

All of this isn’t working. The easiest way to deal with this problem to avoid it altogether, but your house starts looking so terrible that you can’t stand it any more! That’s where I come in! Each of the above problems can be readily solved with a Sargent Steam machine. I have been pain-free for a year now. The pain reliever that I prescribe is using ordinary tap water to clean. The stainless steel tank heats approximately 3 quarts of water to 298 degrees creating 50 pounds of pressure to blast, dirt and grime from every surface. I always say, “Friends don’t let friends get on their knees!” With our many attachments, brushes, and extensions for our hose, you will never again have to have the aches and pains of traditional cleaning. The results I get from cleaning with a steam machine verses cleaning the “old way,” are phenomenal. No matter how hard I work, I not longer feel like I have been in battle! The benefits are endless, but the biggest benefit of all is I am pain free and my house looks fantastic.

Give Michelle a call for a free home demonstration or directions to get to my cleaning videos for instruction at 801-979-6707.

Search for the topics you are particularly interested in! Even though it was a very difficult decision, she knew it was the best thing for her mother. The facility was much smaller than her mother’s house, so she had to downsize substantially.

Her mother had been a smoker for years and the thought of moving that smelly old sofa and chair into her new place was not very appealing. Buying new furniture was out of the question.

My friend did not need any added stress at this time, so I volunteered my time and the use of my steam cleaner. She had her doubts but I knew my steamer would get the nicotine stains and smoky smells out of the furniture, walls, ceilings and floors in no time. I knew she had to get this smoky old house ready to sell.

The Sargent Steam machine had no problems getting to the job. The 298 degree temperature and 50 pounds of pressure blasted the dirt, grime and smells out of everything in an amazingly short time. My friend watched in wonder as I went from one job to another. As soon as the furniture was finished, I steamed the walls clean. There was no need to paint them because they looked bright and clean. Instead of trying to fight gravity, Sargent Steam lets you put the science of “heat rising” to work for you. It heats tap water to 298 degrees creating 50 pounds of pressure inside the tank. The hotter you heat water, the dryer the steam vapor. Team vapor is only 10% moisture so it cleans without soaking and dries very rapidly so it’s safe to clean nearly any washable surface. Pressurized steam loosens stuck on grim and blasts dirt out of cracks and hidden crevices. As the heat rises, the whole mess is absorbed into the cloth. This means no squeezing a rag you’ve taken from a bucket of dirty water. No polishing, and no residue left behind to attract more dirt. Now doesn’t that sound like more fun than the old-fashioned way? You never need to put on your knees or a ladder to clean again. Bravo!

There is absolutely no scrubbing needed. The heat, moisture, and pressure do the hard work for you. Even the toughest, ickiest jobs like the oven, stove, tile grout, and window tracks are no longer agonizing tasks. You can get mirrors and windows streak free in one swipe, de-grime window screens right in the window, and detail your car or boat better than a professional. This little red devil sanitizes the bathroom from top to botton including tub, toilet, and sink. The shower is a piece of cake. Your kitchen countertops, knives, appliances, cabinets, sinks, and grime around the faucets will be cleaner than you’ve been since they were new. The versatility is limitless. Try to think of another single tool that lets you accomplish as many things as the Sargent Steam machine. You’ll use it every day on one thing or another.

Do yourself a favor; own the power tool that takes the drag out of house cleaning.

Get on the phone right now and call Michelle for a free, one hour demonstration in your home.

I’m talking about the crappy carpet that some previous owner had installed throughout my whole house. The color sucked and I was so embarrassed by how shabby it looked.

No matter how often I vacuumed or how nice a vacuum I used- it still always felt and smelled dirty. I had the carpet cleaning company on speed dial. Nothing helped. Even steaming it myself with my steam cleaner didn’t keep me happy for long.

When I didn’t even want to get down on the floor to play with the kids anymore I told my husband I could not live with this carpet one more day. I just knew that icky old carpeting was a huge contributor to my son’s asthma attacks.
I had wanted that carpet gone and wood floors just like my neighbor has installed for so long I couldn’t wait any longer. But with so many different types of hardwood available we had a decision to make. Oak, Maple, Cherry, Alder, Mahogany…what to pick?

Since we’re concerned with the environment, a renewable source seemed like a “greener” choice so we looked at Bamboo, Cork, and Eucalyptus. We decided on Bamboo which, come to find out isn’t actually wood, it’s a grass that grows like a foot a day! It matures and is ready for harvest in three years, regenerates without need for replanting, and requires minimal fertilization or pesticides. I was SOLD!

When the day finally came and that terrible carpeting left and the Bamboo flooring arrived I was ecstatic. The gentleman who installed it let me take a huge knife to that smelly old carpet as we ripped it out. He must have know just how enormously therapeutic that would be for me!
You should see these new Bamboo floors! They are absolutely gorgeous and I swear the whole house just feels richer and more expensive. The exterior 4″ edge is stained a deep cherry wood color and the interior is a beautiful chocolate color.

You might think that doesn’t sound like a very kid-friendly color but it’s really no problem at all. I just walk around with a microfiber duster when I need to collect loose stuff and steam them when there’s stuck-on dirt. I put a microfiber cloth over my steamer’s floor brush and I get the floor clean, dry, shiny and polished all in one step! It’s so easy, and after all the care those cruddy carpets took I don’t mind this at all. At least my efforts show amazing results instead of a total waste of time.

Are you amazed that I would “steam” my newest investment? I knew before I got them that the absolute best way to keep my new floor sanitized and shiny clean was with my steam cleaner because I’ve used my steamer to keep my wood kitchen cabinets looking like new for years. I just double wrap my brush, use the lowest steam setting and keep it moving. I get the wood beautifully clean without hurting the varnish.
There is no possible way any harsh, nasty chemicals are ever going to touch my gorgeous new Bamboo floors! That swiffy stuff they sell at the grocery store for wood floors is nothing but trouble. It builds up and looks smeary, not to mention how very NOT earth-friendly it is so why use it? Besides, I just invested heavily in my family’s health and in my environment so no toxic smelly chemicals for me. I just got everybody breathing better and I’m not introducing anything but pure healthy steam to our indoor environment now.

I feel so lucky – now I have the best of both worlds. I can love my floor, keep it clean and sanitized with steam any time I want and have our family breathing better. By the way, I can’t tell you what a difference owning a steamer has made to our family. Steaming is so fast and easy I can keep anything as clean as I want and still have tons of time to roll around on the floor with my kids.
Imagine getting every surface in your home cleaner than it’s ever been without using chemicals!

If you’re like the average homeowner, there are probably 20 different cleaning chemicals under your kitchen sink. Different stuff for your tile, windows/mirrors, ovens, flooring, disinfectants for you countertops and toilet bowls. Most of it is smelly, harsh, toxic, corrosive, and not even remotely biodegradable. Half of it is dangerous, fatal-if-swallowed, poisonous, and downright deadly if mixed wrong. Since it’s consumable it’s expensive…the more you clean, the more you spend.

Consider the global impact of every household flushing all that chemical soup down the drain and then disposing of the empty bottles in the landfill. How much would Mother earth benefit if we no longer needed to produce, package or ship any of those household cleaning chemicals? How much better would you and your family feel if you never had to breathe bleach or ammonia fumes or wear rubber gloves again?

When the question is dirt, the solution is pure and simple and just around the corner at Sargent Steam. It’s water. Water is essential for all life forms and now, thanks to modern technology, it is the exclusive solution needed to clean anything dirty. Water turns microfibers into cleaning demons that leave nothing behind…no lint, no dirt, no residue or buildup. Sargent steam machines turn water into steam so powerful it will degrease an oven or barbeque in minutes and kill germs, mold and mildew on contact. Both are reusable and last for years so the more you use them, the less they cost per use.
Kids and their friends leave dirty hand print trails, dogs roll around in the dirt and then head for their favorite spot…the couch. Dads 4-wheel in the mud and then track their muddy footprints to the bathroom that turns the once pristine bathroom into a mud pit. Fixing meals in such a tight space can leave the kitchen looking like a tornado hit it. You’ve collected road tar and dirt from one end of the country to the other. Are you left wondering ‘How am I ever going to get this place clean?’

Boy, the gear you need to clean up this mess can sure be overwhelming! I mean you need Windex for the windows, Clorox wipes for the fingerprints, Resolve for the dirty couch and carpet stains, Tilex for the muddy shower, 409 and Soft Scrub for the kitchen areas. Not to mention rubber gloves so your hands don’t crack and dry out because of all the harsh chemicals you are continually using. How are you to keep all those chemicals separate so they don’t spill and contaminate everything else they come in contact with? That sure is a lot of stuff to remember to pack just to keep the RV clean while you are out having fun.
Consider steam as an alternative. Steam uses tap water heated to 298 degrees to sanitize any surface it touches. With one swipe of a steam cleaner the dirty hand prints are gone, couch and carpet stains are eliminated, the once muddy bathroom is pristine in minutes and your kitchen area has never been so sparkly clean and germ free.

If you still feel like you do not have space for a steam cleaner try a Micro Fiber Cloth and a spray bottle full of water. Spray your windows with the water and wipe them clean with the Micro Fiber cloth. You will be amazed at the streak-free shine you get with only tap water. This method is definitely better for you than the old way of cleaning.

Typically you go RV’ing to enjoy the outdoor fresh air and great scenery. But the enclosed air inside your RV is very easily polluted. So why contaminate your indoor environment even more with harsh cleaning chemicals when you can use pure, healthy steam instead? You might think you don’t have space in your RV for a steam cleaner when in fact most steam cleaners take up less room than all those harsh chemicals and is environmentally friendly.
We gather there to eat our meals and linger over conversations. The kids work on school projects at the kitchen table. When our friends visit, the dining table turns into the game table or we end up on the bar stools in the kitchen chatting over coffee or drinks.

Bottom line – the kitchen is one of the busiest rooms in the house. So it’s important to me to keep the kitchen clean and smelling fresh. I am a bit of a clean freak and I keep my kitchen ready for the next inevitable party all the time. So firing up my steam cleaner is pretty much a daily thing.

That’s why I was frantic when I had this weird lingering odor I could neither locate or identify. I searched everywhere. I removed every item from the refrigerator checking for any spoiled or expired food items then steamed every nook and cranny.
I think most households are a lot like mine in that family and friends inevitably congregate in the kitchen. I searched everywhere. I removed every item from the refrigerator checking for any spoiled or expired food items then steamed every nook and cranny.
I went through the cupboards searching for the culprit but didn’t find anything. I checked and steamed my dishwasher. I took out the trash, steamed the inside and outside of the trash can. I eliminated all of the obvious places unpleasant odors tend to hide but couldn’t find the cause of the awful odor that was now permeating my whole kitchen.

Tuesday I was peeling carrots and I turned on the disposal. Let me just say it quickly became very obvious that I had found the source of that nasty odor. It was the worst smell you could ever imagine. I thought the garbage disposal was designed to pulverize and remove food waste and send it down the drain. I should have realized the disposal was actually the perfect environment for mold and bacteria to grow…wet, dark and hidden.
As disgusting as this was, I was relieved to finally find the cause of the awful odor. I knew this problem could be resolved within 10 to 15 seconds. All I had to do was my turn on my steam cleaner. I knew the steam temperature was hot enough to kill the mold and bacteria that caused the odor and its nozzle was angled perfectly to blast the gunk out from the hidden area under the rubber gasket.
I went through the cupboards searching for the culprit but didn’t find anything. Then I turned the nozzle upside down so I could get up under the rim. A few seconds later the odor was already dissipating. I hated having to get rubber gloves, harsh chemicals, buckets and scrub brushes just to get the rings and germs under control. Now is it just me, or can you still smell some funky smell even after you thought is should be clean? All that work for nothing but burning skin and sinuses.

However, I found a revolutionary tool that takes all the drudgery out of toilets; Steam Cleaners! This great little invention turns ordinary tap water into the most powerful and efficient cleaning secret ever. Super-heated water becomes extra dry steam vapor with enough pressure to knock out any germs, mildew, and grime wherever it hides…like in the toilet seat hinges and behind the hardware.

I start with my steam nozzle to get into the hinges and fittings (this is a great hiding spot for a whole array of germs, especially if you have little boys in your home.) Then I move to the back of the seat, and on to the seat and rim. Blasting all of the grime and debris in to the bowl of the toilet, then easily get rid of the mess by flushing everything down.

Now, we’re ready to do the bowl itself. Right after I’ve flushed, while the water is going down, I follow with a steam nozzle and a scrubbing pad. This will eliminate the mildew ring and the scummy stuff out from under the rim.

If there is a hard water problem, you’ll need some help but, remember, I don’t like to use chemicals. Not only for the reasons I mentioned earlier, but when intense heat is added to the equation, the potency of those chemicals is intensified and even more harmful. I use an enhancer with orange oil and silica sand to cut through this hard water mineral mess. This will work wonders on hard water in combination with your steamer completely safely.

Now all that is left is the floor around the base, and to wipe everything off with a microfiber cloth to polish everything up. Look at that; an entire toilet, germs, hard water and all, totally clean in under 10 minutes! That is My Bathroom Secret!

Sargent Steam has been in business and been steam cleaning experts since 1993.

Once my steamer was heated, I put the nozzle down into the disposal and steamed for about 15 seconds. Then I turned the nozzle upside down so I could get up under the rim. A few seconds later the odor was already dissipating. I gave it an extra blast just for good measure, ran some water through it and sure enough the odor was gone!

I now include the garbage disposal sanitizing process in my weekly steaming tasks and have never encountered this problem again.

Go take a look right now. You have something for shower grime; you have windex for the mirrors; oven cleaners; toilet bowl cleaners--you name the job and I can tell you that you have the chemical you THINK is going to help your cleaning jobs. Wrong. Not only don't they work all that well, but most of them are smellly, harsh, toxic, corrosive, and not at all biodegradable. Many of the chemicals under your sink are dangerous, fatal-if-swallowed, or poisonous! Since all of these products are consumable, they are a monthly expense...the more you clean the more you spend on toxic chemicals.

Consider the global impact of every household flushing all that chemical soup down the drain and then disposing of the empty bottles in the landfill. How much would Mother Earth benefit if we no longer needed to produce, package, or ship any of those household cleaning chemicals?

When the question is dirt, the solution is pure and simple. It's water! The Sargent Steam machine uses ONLY WATER. Thanks to modern technology, water is heated to 298 degrees and becomes an indoor power washer. Clean the entire house, sanitizing everyting as you go. Just imagine getting every surface in your home cleaner than it's ever been WITHOUT USING CHEMICALS.

Last minute, thrown together dinner affairs are just such a great break from the norm. Seriously, he usually only gives me about 5 minutes notice that he’s bringing folks home for dinner.

I’ve developed a talent for throwing together a great meal in a really short amount of time. We always end up laughing and enjoying ourselves. My secret, you ask? There are three and they all involve being calm and prepared.

The first is keeping my freezer and pantry well stocked. I make big batches when I have time and freeze the rest for just such occasions.

The second is that I’ve given up stressing about whether everything is perfect. Being together with people we love is perfect. Stressing over insignificant details is not.

The third, and maybe the most important necessity, is my secret weapon cleaning tool. The one thing that used to get me riled is that I typically had only seconds to make sure our friends didn’t see anything unsightly in the bathroom.

So I bought a steam machine that tackles pretty much anything dirty all over my house so fast and easily I don’t have to stress about any mess.

I got the warning call yesterday at 5:10 that the party was on for 6:00. I hung up, grabbed a salmon fillet from the freezer, checked the contents of the veggie bin and flipped on my steamer.

I took my steam cleaner to the toilet, sink and mirror. I was almost finished when I caught a reflection of the bathroom door in the mirror. What were all those shiny speckles sparkling in the sunlight?

Upon closer inspection I determined it was hairspray overspray stuck on the bathroom door and the painted wall behind it. Bathroom doors often have those beveled edges that collect stuff and sure enough, mine was caked with industrial strength hairspray. And from the looks of it, quite a bit of it.

I’ve trusted my steam cleaner on most every surface in my home with great results so I knew steam could get that mega super hold hairspray off my door and painted walls safely with plenty of time left over for other party preparations.

I wanted to tackle the wall first because I was so excited to see the results. I attached my diamond brush, covered it with the fitted cloth and chose a low steam setting. I began moving the attachment up and down with a good consistent motion.

It worked beautifully at melting through the sticky buildup without damaging the paint. I switched to the soft brush to get into the beveled corners on the door. Same thing here. The steam melted right through it and with a quick wipe, the door looked beautiful too.

When I finished there was not one trace of hairspray anywhere to be found and the walls felt like they had actually been repainted. This cleaning tool ROCKS! It’s the biggest reason I don’t panic at last minute party plans.

Now all I had to do was throw together a yummy Greek salad to go with the grilled salmon fillet and fill up the ice bucket!

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, or having
Steams My Team make an appointment to go to your home and clean with steam call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or e-mail her at michellekjac@yahoo.com

I have had many years of cleaning experience. Are you looking for a better solution or do you find yourself wondering what is the easiest and most effective way to clean these darn things?

I am here to tell you that your search is over! I have found the quickest, simplest, absolute best way to clean those walls. Heck, you can even tackle the ceiling at the same time it is so easy.

How you ask – with the most amazing indoor power tool I have ever used. My steam cleaner. I am shocked at how easy it is to clean my walls since buying my steam cleaner.

I used to save this tedious chore for my once a year cleaning project. It was always a weekend long project and by the time I got around to it each year my walls were filthy! Seems like I was even having to bribe the kids to help and then listen to them complain the whole time!

What I hated as much as the complaining was that ridiculous bucket of dirty water that was putting grime right back on my walls and how that dirty water was constantly dripping down my arms. Another thing that was irritating was having to go up and down that stupid ladder what seemed like a thousand times! Ugh!

With my steamer this chore is no longer put off for years as at time, in fact I would be willing to do it every week if it needed it. It really is that easy. I simply turn the machine on wait a few minutes for it to heat up.
Once heated I attach the extension wands so I can stand comfortably on the floor and still reach even the ceiling. I do not miss that ladder! I attach the rectangle brush with a cloth on it and begin to clean the walls in an up and down vacuuming motion.

Steaming means no more buckets with dirty water, ladders, mess and best of all no complaining from the kids. Although, now we do have fights over who gets to use this way cool steamer tool next!

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, or having
Steams My Team make an appointment to go to your home and clean with steam call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or e-mail her at michellekjac@yahoo.com

I have had many years of cleaning experience. This is vitally important when you purchase! If you have a problem, you can zip to the corporate headquarters at 3131 East 3300 South in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you need immediate repairs, call 1-800-748-7832.

There is no need to order parts and wait for them, and no need to send your machine to be repaired, as often you must do with many of the other steam cleaners. If you aren't using a steam machine to thoroughly clean the grout and shower walls, those germs linger. Go to my article, "Germs Can Kill..."

Germs have a hayday in many places where you like to go: the hand railings at airports and stores are their favorite; every where you touch may leave gersm--the computer keyboard, T.V. remote, the A.T.M. machine, the elevator buttons, and the phone, just to name a few.

In the above article "Germs Kill...", it was mentioned the kitchen sink. If you use a dish scrubbing brush, dish rag, or sponge, make sure to put those in the dish washer after daily use. If you own the Sargent Steamer, you have at you immediate disposal, a machine that heats to 298 degrees creating 50 pounds of pressure, and that kill ALL germs.

Don't lose any sleep, but there but dust mite feces is in your mattress, pillows, and bedding! Yuk! Again, if you are using the steam machine, you have at your finger tips, a method to get rid of those e-coli, listeria, mold, and salmonella germs right away.

I am in the process of visiting Salt Lake City restauants to encourage them to CLEAN WITH STEAM and teach them the benefits of using a steam machine. Some of your favorite restaurants have many cited violations for cleanliness. Give Michelle a call at 801-979-6707 if you are wondering about the saftey of your RESTAURANTS!! You may also go to the Salt Lake Valley Health Department food establishment ranking web to get information on making INFORMED decisions about where to dine.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, or having
Steams My Team make an appointment to go to your home and clean with steam call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or e-mail her at michellekjac@yahoo.com

I have had many years of cleaning experience. It's not your fault...cleaning is a drag! "Listeria is in the sink. The average sink has 6,000 times more germs than the average toilet! Samonella is on the wood cutting board; e-coli is on the refrigerator door handle; dust mites feces are in your bedding; mold grows in the tile grout."

Some new products make our jobs faster or easier. Some save us time or money. Others protect our health or our environment. Rarely does one new invention do ALL these things. Until now!! Well, Sargent Steam was the answer for me! I purchased my Steamer 6 years ago and can I just tell you how nice it is to NEVER have to go down the chemical isle again! I don't have to scramble to the store because I ran out of something I needed to use to clean!

I think my purchase has probably saved me hundreds if not thousands over the years. What I can't put a price on is my children's health. I don't ever have to lock away poisonous cleaning products. Have you ever stopped to think how dangerous toxic chemicals are? Go on the EPA website and read about the dangers of using chemicals in your home. Sargent Steamer uses ordinary tap water and that's all that's needed.

Our family feels healthier and everything is just cleaner! Not to mention I am doing my part to save our beautiful planet! He and I have both come a long way since he first started wrestling during his sophomore year. When he first informed me he wanted to try out for the high school team, I had all the normal parental apprehensions -plus some.

Yes, I was concerned about injuries but when my son brought home some documents from the coach telling us of the viruses, germs and infections that can be picked up on the wrestling mats and wrestling gear, I was mortified!
We’re talking MRSA, Ringworm, Herpes Simplex, Staph, Strep, and Hepatitis B to name only a few. These infectious, contagious nightmares were not just on the wrestling mats. They live in the headgear, pads, equipment bags and most other hard athletic surfaces.

Aside from the threat of unhealthy germs, there was an unholy stench coming from every wrestler’s gear! Nobody had ever been able to kill the schtanky miasma that permeated the whole gym.
The coach promised the wrestling mats were always disinfected before wrestlers were allowed to compete. They used chemical solutions that were applied by the old mop and bucket method. This just didn’t cut it for me. First these kids are exposed to viruses and germs and now chemicals, and how were their gear and the other surfaces being disinfected?

I had the answer to this problem, STEAM, I just wasn’t sure who to go to about it. I contacted the team mom regarding my concerns and asked if she would be willing to set up a meeting with the coach. She was all for it, apparently this was a big concern for all the parents. Even the coach was eager to find a better and safer solution.
The coach promised the wrestling mats were always disinfected before wrestlers were allowed to compete. Even the coach was eager to find a better and safer solution.
I showed everyone how to clean the mats, floors, headgear, pads and all the other surfaces in the gym. Sanitizing with steam was faster, more effective, there was no waiting time for the mats to dry and best of all, the steam cleaner uses absolutely no chemicals to completely eliminate all those germs, bacteria and viruses.

I asked them how they felt about this method verses the old mop and bucket method and they unanimously agreed there was no comparison.
Every parent in that room was so impressed with the results that within 30 minutes they had come up with enough money to purchase a steam cleaner for the wrestling team and a rotation schedule of volunteers to do the job regularly. Talk about peace of mind. My son may get a few bumps and bruises but he will not be infected with any of those nasty illnesses.

Every parent should check out this steam cleaner – it’s amazing around the house and now it’s protecting my child at school.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner, or having
Steams My Team make an appointment to go to your home and clean with steam call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or e-mail her at michellekjac@yahoo.com

I have had many years of cleaning experience. Truth is I new it wouldn’t take long before he would be using it as much as I was. He’s even attached his man lingo to it calling it a very useful “tool”.

Let’s back up just a little so I can explain how this transition took place. I would give anything to have captured the look on his face with the video camera… it was priceless.

You see my husband has always been very supportive of me but he just didn’t get why I wanted a steam cleaner so badly. So I sat him down and explained it to him.

I highlighted all the benefits – like how easy it would make my life, the time and money it would save, how we could eliminate all those harmful chemicals, how every surface in our home could be cleaned and sanitized safely, and that he would love it just as much as I would. He actually said “That’ll be the day.” He did however follow that comment up with “Go ahead.” Fast forward two weeks later. I had spent the day cooking and cleaning, preparing for a weekend visit from his Mother. He had spent the day working in the yard. Everything was absolutely perfect. My Mother in-law would be a arriving within the hour so I told my husband he had better get in the shower.
The next thing I heard was my husband groaning as he stood there looking into the tub and sink. Pools of water were collecting around the drains. I could see the irritation on his face knowing he wouldn’t be showering before his mother arrived.

We’ve been married long enough that I also knew exactly what he was thinking. Crap! Now I need the plunger, pipe wrench, plumber’s auger, sewer snake, pliers and I hate plumbing problems! I knew we didn’t have time for all that and I didn’t want him making that kind of mess in my clean bathroom.
As he went to go round up the tools he thought he was going to need, I grabbed in my steam cleaner. He approached the bathroom just in time to see me attach my plumber’s helper to the end of the nozzle.

A plumber’s helper is an attachment that came with my steam cleaner. It’s about 2 inches in diameter and has a spongy seal. He asked just what did I think I was going to do with that? I calmly told him I was going to unclog the drains in the tub and sink in less than 2 minutes.

Impossible.” he exclaimed. “Watch me.” I said. I simply placed the seal over the drain in the sink and turned on the steam. Whatever was clogging the drain couldn’t withstand the 50 pounds of pressure and steam that reaches almost 290 degrees. I heard a pop and the pipe cleared in about 10 seconds. The water that had been pooling in the sink was now disappearing down the drain like magic.
Then I moved to the tub and went through the same process on that drain. The clogs were gone in under my 2 minute estimate. I turned around and that’s when I saw the look on his face of disbelief and utter amazement. It was at that moment he became a steam cleaner team player.

Since that day my husband has found many more uses for my steam cleaner. He details the cars on a weekly basis. His golf clubs are immaculate including the grip, which he swears will never need to be replaced again and our boat looks about 5 years newer.
Converting him didn’t take as long as I thought it would. It makes me smile every time I hear him telling his friends about this amazing new power tool his wife bought for him and that it’s a must-have component in their arsenal of tools. He’s become the best word of mouth proponent ever!

If you want your husband as happy as mine about something that makes me equally as happy.
For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner or having Steams My Team come out and clean with steam in your home call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or email at michelle@sargentsteam.com.

I have had many years of cleaning experience. I don't think I clean another thing in my house as often only to have it still look so bad. It's really got me questioning my purchase.

For a while I tried to clean them using the stainless steel cleaners you can buy at the grocery store. With all the promises the manufacturers make on how well they "shine, protect and clean fingerprints" I was very disappointed with the results. The label said it was supposed to help "repel dust and dirt effortlessly, to prevent water marks and leave a streak free shine." None of which I found to be true,

That stuff left a film on my appliances and it actually changed the color of the stainless surface. They're noticeably darker on the front than on the sides where I haven't used the chemical. It just seemed like I was constantly wiping everything down and I got this waxy buildup that looked horrible and in reality attracted more fingerprints!

How disappointing. There had to be a better way! So I did some research just like when I bought my stainless appliances, and if you are a busy mom like me, and don't have time to follow everyone around the house wiping down fingerprints, then I've found the solution for you too. It turned out to be another appliance! It's a handy little tool called a steam cleaning machine.

I bought a good one, heated it up and began to fall in love! I just put the nozzle on the steamer and grabbed a microfiber cloth. A quick spray and wipe and you're done! The steamer leaves a beautiful streak free shine. I'm happy to report the stainless color is back to the original.

It's amazing how effortless it now is to clean my appliances and since steam is just water it doesn't leave any residue behind to make smudgy fingerprints. The really interesting thing is how the hot steam just seemed to melt through the buildup of chemicals and now my whole kitchen is shiny and squeaky clean!

I love the process too. Just heat it up and start steaming things clean. Now I love the whole thought of cleaning with steam and it seems things stay cleaner longer. I just didn't realize how much nicer it would look and how easy it was to clean my stainless steel. I love steaming and now I can love my stainless steel appliances again as well!

If you would like to see more of what steam can clean check out our website at Sargent Steam, http://www.sargentsteam.com or visit our blog at http://www.therealdirtonclean.com

Sargent Steam has been in business and been seam cleaning experts since 1993. Basic laws of physics say liquids sinks and heat raises. Gravity lets liquid chemicals and dirty mop water sink to the lowest point, like into your tile grout or down into your carpet fibers. Sargent Steam lets you put the science of "heat rising" to work for you.

It heats tap water to 298 degrees creating 50 pounds of pressure inside the tank. The hotter you heat water, the dryer the steam vapor. Steam vapor is only 10% moisture so it cleans without soaking and dries very rapidly, so it's safe to clean nearly any washable surface.

Steam loosens stuck on grime and blasts dirt out of cracks and hidden crevices. As the heat rises, the whole mess is absorbed into the cloth at the end of the steam attachment(s). Sargent Steam means no rinsing, no dirty buckets of water, less polishing, and no residue left behind to attract more dirt.

Now doesn't that sound like more fun than the old-fashioned way?

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner or having Steams My Team come out and clean with steam in your home call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or email at michelle@sargentsteam.com.

I have had many years of cleaning experience. I’ll start at the top with your eyes, nose and throat. They get red, itchy, dry and sore from all the chemicals. Chemical issues go far beyond eyes, noses and throats. They’re also hard on the skin on your hands making them red, itchy and so dry they actually crack.

Most alarming is what those harsh, dangerous toxic cleaning chemicals are doing to you internally. Laboratory test have shown that breathing in chlorine bleach sends your blood gases through the roof! If you breathe it in it actually burns your esophagus and sinuses and it’s absolutely deadly if you mix bleach with ammonia in a small enclosed space.

Moving down your body to your neck area which gets stiff and tense from being bent at so many weird angles while you try to reach into inaccessible nooks and crannies. Your shoulders hurt from mopping and vacuuming and reaching all those places up above your head like the ceiling, walls, light fixtures and tops of appliances just to name a few.

The worst is your back. Who decided that in order to clean it required you to bend at the waist for lengthy periods of time?

Your wrists hurt from scrubbing, and how about the bruises on your knees from kneeling on the hard tile floors so you can reach places like the inside of the tub, behind the toilet, the base boards. And lets not forget the grueling pain of being on your hands and knees with bleach and a tooth brush cleaning the tile grout.

Lets face it, cleaning can be a real pain. I know because I have been cleaning (and in pain) for almost 25 years.

First I thought maybe my cleaning practices were flawed and I just needed to be taught the right way to clean. I invested in books, I went online to do some research and I even asked the professionals for some advise. Their advise was to hire a cleaning company. Honestly, if I could afford it that’s exactly what I would do.

This was not working. I began dreading and procrastinating cleaning my house and the condition of my house was declining rapidly. Little did I know, when you don’t keep up on housework you also start collecting clutter. I needed a cure, and boy did I find one!

I’ve been pain free for two years now. My pain reliever came in the form of a steam cleaner. Since I’ve owned my steamer I’ve never used any form of a chemical. I’ve not been down on my hands and knees since. Tasks that used to require me to bend at the waist in order to clean, I’m now able to do standing straight up.

I no longer clean anything with my arms above my head and my wrists aren’t sore from all that repetitive scrubbing motion. I let this machine do all the work and I feel better all the way around. I know this might sound a little sick but I actually enjoy cleaning now! The results I get from cleaning with a steam machine verses the old way is like comparing apples to oranges. No matter how hard I worked or how much pain I subjected myself to, I could never get the results I get now that I clean with steam.

My house looks and feels cleaner than it ever has. Cleaning with steam is faster and way more effective. The benefits are endless but to me, the biggest benefit of all is I am pain free and my house looks fantastic!

Go to www.sargentsteam.com to check out the best cleaning tool and back saver ever.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner or having Steams My Team come out and clean with steam in your home call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or email at michelle@sargentsteam.com.

I have had many years of cleaning experience. No Streak Window Cleaning!

One of my most favorite things about Spring and Summer is looking out at nature through nice, clean windows. For some reason having clean clear windows just changes the feel of my home. Everything seems cleaner when the rooms are full of sunshine. The whole house seems brighter and cheerier.

I do have a confession, though, in the past I didn’t wash my windows very often- in fact almost never. It was just such a daunting task. I have tons of them and they’re high – I couldn’t reach most of them without getting on a ladder. Not to mention how time-consuming it was. It seemed to be an all day long event.

Worst of all was the lousy results after slaving all day long. I always ended up with streaks no matter which stuff I used – vinegar, Windex, alcohol – I tried them all. None of them were very effective. I had to spray it all over and manually wipe it all off again. I think I covered every square inch of my window 17 times by the time I finished fighting all the streaks.

It seemed pretty crazy as I thought about it – here I am smearing stuff all over the window when what I really wanted was nothing on the window.

The sad part about this whole thing is I thought I’d just have to get used to dirty, dingy windows – I just didn’t have the time, the energy or the right tools. Then I found the tool I had been missing and the solution was so simple I couldn’t believe it. I bought a steam cleaner and I’m so excited about it!

Steam is just water so it doesn’t leave an oily film like chemical cleaners. The water is “distilled” in the machine so there are no hard water mineral spots left on the glass. The heat melts through sticky fingerprints, fly tracks, even doggy nose prints like magic. The shine is awesome and with no chemicals they even stay cleaner longer.

My steamer has a squeegee attachment that’s so effective. I use the soft brush for scrubbing away all the weather and grime then I flip to the other side to squeegee away the moisture and dirt. That’s it! No endless polishing and no streaky residue left that just attracts more dirt. They’re streak-free and squeaky-clean in a single pass!

I can even reach the high windows without climbing on a ladder. I just add extension wands so I can reach to the top while standing on the floor. I finish up any leftover water droplets with a microfiber cloth. Voila! Every window in the house is so shiny, streak-free and clean I can finally see outside again!

Now I enjoy clean windows all the time. I can’t tell you what a difference my steamer has made. I can tell you I don’t miss how hard I had to work to get windows clean before my steamer.

For more information on cleaning with steam, purchasing a steam cleaner or having Steams My Team come out and clean with steam in your home call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or email at michelle@sargentsteam.com.

I have had many years of cleaning experience. I have to be completely honest, I had been noticing an odor in my 4 year olds bedroom that I recognized

Clean up Urine on Mattresses
(URINE) but I couldn’t locate the source. My child has never been a bed wetter but as you all know accidents do happen.

Immediately I felt overwhelmed as I stood there staring at this stain wondering how I was going to remove not only the stain but the bacteria and odor. The mattress was fairly new and definitely not disposable but I was new at this kind of thing and didn’t know where to start.

I live a very hectic life so I needed a quick and convenient way to handle this situation. I researched this problem online trying to find the best approach. I wanted a sanitary method but every solution I found included some kind of chemical which I didn’t want to expose my child to.

I turned to the one thing in my closet that has never let me down, my Sargent Steam. I went to their amazing website for proper instructions and found this was going to be a lot easier than I had imagined.

These were my exact instructions. Attach 2 extensions and the rectangle brush covered with a cloth to the end of my hose. Turn the steam on and go north and south then east and west over the stain with a vacuuming motion.

Repeat this process with a clean cloth until the stain is gone. The steam removed the stain, killed the bacteria that was causing the odor and as an added benefit killed the unseen dust mites or other allergens that might have been present!

This took about 20 minutes, did an amazing job and not a nasty chemical was used. The mattress was dry by the time the sheets were laundered. That’s the kind of solution I was looking for and couldn’t find anywhere but with Sargent Steam.

I rest assured my child’s mattress is good as new and he is not sleeping with any little uninvited guests. I am always finding new reasons to love
my Sargent Steam even more. This thing is definitely addicting. I encourage everyone to check this amazing cleaning tool out and see
for yourself why I’m head over heals in love with my Sargent. When pricing each cleaning product a family uses each month, in a year's time, you spend over $500 on the following: Clorax & Clorax wipes, toilet cleaners, drain cleaners, dusting products, pine-sol-type cleaners and swiffer refills. Let's not forget all the carpet cleaning companies that come and soak the carpet, claiming that the rugs are clean--no they aren't--those spots re-appear. What about the car detailing products like vinyl cleaners, tire cleaners, new floor mats, etc.
Per Month/$35; Per Year/$500; Car Detailing a Year/$250; Carpet Cleaning a Year /$350
A very modest estimate is that you unknowningly spend $1,100 a year in cleaning-related products. The "old way" is simply the wrong way to get the superior results you want to make your auto look practically new again! Most of us are disappointed in the detailing jobs that cost plenty and don't get the results we want!
A steamer can do all the things you just can't accomplish with a bucket and a rag! Also, you don't really want to spend all that time detailing your auto or it wouldn't look the way it does now! If you are embarrassed to have anyone ride with you, take a look a the list of things a steamer can accomplish: steam between the seats, the console, dash, cupholders, vents, vinyl, carpet and seats. It can blast those door jambs free of all the built up grease and dirt.
Steam doesn't get your auto soaking wet because dry, hot steam is used. There is 50 pounds of pressure at 298 degrees. That can get all that dirt and grime--guaranteed! THIS IS TOTALLY GREEN CLEANING! We use only tap water and NO TOXIC CHEMICALS.
We can safely clean leather seats.
Call Michelle at 801-979-6707 or Christin at 801-628-8081.
If you are interested in purchasing a steam machine call and ask for a FREE demonstration.

Cleaning Made Simple!

Don't use Clorox! Read the label on Clorox. It warns, "Keep out of the reach of children. DANGER: corrosive." It also warns. " Precautionary statements: Hazards to humans and animals...Kills 99.9 % of common household germs." It kills germs used straight, which may also fill you lungs full of caustic chemicals. STEAM, on the other hand, kills germs, bacteria in 2 seconds using only tap water. Not only that, but it costs $4.95--water costs nothing. Would you rather breathe chemicals or warm steam?
299 degrees of steam melts right through cooking grease on your oven, stove top, and the exhaust hood without using expensive de-greasing chemicals.
We've all been cautioned not to cut meat on a wood cutting board. E-coli or Salmonella germs can be left on the cutting board and you can get very SICK!
Do you have tile in your home...on the floors, in the bathroom, maybe a tile countertop? Do you ever worry about the dirt and germs that might be lurking there? Is there mold in your shower? Is it a big job to keep the grout the original color? Are you using a toothbrush, down on your knees doing lots of scrubbing?
Add up all the monthly and yearly costs of buying one cleaning product after another! The average monthly cost is $34.00 Per year, that makes the cost of each product x 12, $608 a year! You can buy a STEAMER in just months, and then you could save $9,120.00 in 15 years.

The Ultimate Steam Cleaning Machine

Friends Don't Let Friends Clean the Hard Way!
